Privacy policy

Last updated: October 23, 2026. It covers the Bloody Party game on phones and tablets (Android, iPhone and iPad), on PC, and this website.

1. Who is responsible

Bloody Party is an independent game. Data controller: Leonel Matias Vazquez, Argentina. For any privacy matter, to report a player or to ask us to delete your data: leonel.m.vazquez@gmail.com.

2. In short

  • You don't need to create an account or give us your name, email or phone number.
  • There's no advertising, we don't track you across apps or websites and we don't sell data.
  • Online play uses an anonymous ID and the display name you choose.
  • Text chat in online games goes between the players in the room and we don't keep it, unless someone reports a player.
  • If you report a problem or the game closes with an error, we receive technical data to fix it, without your identity.
  • The optional purchase is charged by the store (Google Play or the App Store): we don't see your payment details.

3. This website

  • It uses no cookies, analytics, advertising or third-party trackers. Images, fonts and code are served from our own server.
  • If you switch the language, the choice is stored only in your browser and is never sent anywhere.
  • Like any web server, ours receives your IP address and the technical details of the request in order to respond. We don't keep visit logs.

4. The game on phones and tablets (Android, iPhone and iPad)

4.1 What stays on your device

Settings, progress, statistics (games played and won, streaks, minigames, boards), your list of blocked players and your display name are stored on your device and never reach us. Games on the same phone and against bots send nothing over the internet.

4.2 Online play

To connect players we use services from Unity Technologies, which process the data on our behalf:

  • Anonymous player ID (Unity Authentication): a random code created the first time you play online. It doesn't carry your name, your email or details of your device.
  • Rooms (Unity Lobby and Relay): the room name, the display name you choose, the platform (phone or PC), and the room's language and region. They are kept while the room exists. To connect devices, Unity's servers use your IP address; we don't store it.
  • Text chat: your messages travel encrypted to the other players in the room through Unity Relay. Neither Unity nor we keep them. Chat can be turned off in Options.

The phone and tablet version has no voice chat and doesn't use the microphone. It doesn't use your location, contacts, photos or advertising identifiers either.

4.3 Moderation and player reports

The word filter, mute and block work on your device. If you report a player, we receive the reason, your and that person's display names and anonymous IDs, the room details and the latest messages of the room chat. We use them only to review the case and, if needed, remove that person from online play. They are kept for up to 180 days after the case is closed.

4.4 Problem and error reports

If you use “Report a problem”, we receive what you write, the category and, if you leave it ticked, a screenshot (which may show player names). Automatic error reports, which can be turned off in Options, carry technical data only: game version, operating system, device model, graphics card, memory, resolution, language, where in the game you were and the technical log, scrubbed of personal data (it may mention the display names in the game).

Reports don't include your player ID or device identifiers. Your IP is only used at that moment to stop abuse and is not stored with the report. Reports are kept for up to 180 days and are only used to fix bugs.

4.5 Purchases and advertising

The game is free to download and offers one optional purchase, “Bloody Party Complete”. Payment is processed by Google Play or the App Store with your store account: we never receive your card details. The app receives the purchase confirmation from the store and uses it only to unlock the content and to restore it. There's no advertising.

4.6 Engine technical statistics

Unity, the game engine, may receive anonymous technical data about the device (model, operating system and graphics card) to improve its engine, under Unity's privacy policy.

5. The game on PC (Steam)

The PC version uses the same as the phone version, plus:

  • Steam (Valve): your Steam name and ID for friend rooms, achievements and statistics, under Steam's privacy policy.
  • Voice chat and the matchmaking browser chat (Vivox, by Unity), if you turn them on: voice is transmitted live to the room and we don't record it. The microphone is only used with voice turned on. Browser chat messages may stay in Vivox's history for a while.

6. Who we share data with

Only with the providers that run the game, processing data on our behalf: Unity Technologies (ID, rooms, connections and, on PC, voice), Hostinger (the server for this website and for reports) and, on PC, Valve. We don't sell data, we don't use it for advertising and we don't share it with anyone else, unless the law requires it.

These providers may have servers outside your country. They use encrypted connections (TLS or DTLS).

7. Children

The game contains cartoon violence with exaggerated blood and gore and is meant for ages 16 and up. It isn't directed at children and we don't knowingly collect children's data. If you believe a child sent us data, write to us and we'll delete it.

8. Your rights and how to delete your data

You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of the data we hold about you (reports you sent or that mention you) by writing to leonel.m.vazquez@gmail.com. Since there are no accounts, tell us your display name and, if you have it, your player ID (Options → Online). We reply within 30 days. Uninstalling the game deletes what it stores on your device.

In Argentina, the supervisory authority for Law 25,326 is the Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública. In the European Union you can also complain to your data protection authority.

9. Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and, if the change is significant, announce it in the game.
